Leeds LMC Greener Practice Event – 19th October 2023, The Village Hotel, North Leeds from 6:30pm

Join us on Thursday 19th October, as we host a Greener Practices Event! This is a fantastic opportunity to get together IN PERSON and learn more about being a Greener Practice.  The agenda is attached below and has been designed with both clinical and non-clinical members of the team in mind, everyone welcome, food provided.

Dr Mike Tomson will provide an interactive presentation which uniquely intertwines the concepts of planetary health and sustainable healthcare with real life cases to which we can all relate. The material is highly relevant and an excellent teaching and training resource.

Sally Franks will be giving a brief round-up of Greener Practice Leeds activity since its inception in December 2021 and a practical demonstration of the revamped Green Impact for Health toolkit new for 2023.

Kirsty Turner will be giving an update on what the ICB have been doing to support practices with green initiatives, followed by an opportunity to discuss what more you need.

Food and refreshments will be provided from 6:30pm before the evening commences at 7pm.
