LMC Event invitation - "GP contract: Preparing your practice for the next 5 years"
The new five year GP contract package has been described as the most significant changes for general practice in 15 years. It is essential that practices become familiar with the key points quickly and as the last GPC contract roadshow was significantly over-subscribed Leeds LMC is organising two additional events to help practice managers get to grips with the changes. The speaker will be the LMC Assistant Medical Secretary, Dr Richard Vautrey, who is chair of the BMA’s GP committee and who led the contract negotiations.
We are holding an evening session on Monday, 25th March, at Weetwood Hall Conference Centre. A hot food buffet will be provided from 6.30pm with the meeting expected to run from 7-9pm. There will also be an afternoon session on Tuesday, 26th March, at the Holiday Inn, Garforth. A hot food buffet will be provided from 12:00 noon with the meeting expected to run from 12:30-2:15pm.
We do hope you will be able to join one of the events – they are both free to attend. The meetings will have a practice manager focus but will also be open to any GPs.
