Leeds LMC Limited is the professional statutory body which represents and supports the interests of General Practitioners in the Leeds area.

The increasing rate of change within the NHS has brought with it new challenges and responsibilities. Over the last few years, the work of the Committee has grown in line with these changes and Officers, Committee Members and employees work hard on your behalf.

The Leeds LMC Team

The local Team consist of 5 LMC Officers (elected annually from the committee) and 2 (WTE 1.2) Joint Executive Officers who are based at the LMC offices in Adel.

The Committee comprises of 10 GP locality members representing East, North East, North West, South and West (2 members from the 5 localities in Leeds). 12 City wide members, as well as 5 appointed members representing NHS Leeds, Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust, Leeds Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, GP Registrars and GP Academic. In addition, the Committee can co-opted 2 additional members, of which a Practice Manager currently represents practice management colleagues across the City.
